CTR59>>>FiFi "Under Construction Until Destroyed" discog.cassette

This pair hit the house parties from out of nowhere. A local compilation series (The Roundhouse) hit the summer of 2007 pretty hard. It was all Tampa bands and most of them were under the radar even for around these parts, and that's pretty far under, but the track "Peanut Gallery" (which eventually became a show-stopper) stood out.
I asked the comp.'s currator, Brigid, who the band FiFi was and she matter-of-factly told me it was someone named Edwin and his friend Natalie. I piped up that I did indeed know who Edwin was since he was a prominent force during Tampa's Renaissance and I had to get clued. They played a string of shows between here and Sarasota for the next few months and it was evident that they had the right ideas. They knew how to plug a dity through some sputtering squelch and give it muscle.
Sadly this tape is indeed a "discography" since the band is no more but happily this is indeed a "discography" since you will get to hear all of their recorded output.
