So it seems that there have been a lot of ex-hardcore-jock-types starting synthy bands lately. Simply throw the word "cold" around a lot to describe your bands/music and suddenly you've got a bunch of records out. Well fortunately you won't find baseball hats and tattoo sleeves in these guys' closests but what you will find are honest berliner beats backing king casio and his court. But these folks know that it takes a lot more than just some keyboards and a drum machine to get the party started.
ProBro is back with a name change but the smokemachine and lazer lights are close by with a jitter bug that scurries across the dance floor and right into a jar of peanut butter.
On the other side Skeleton Warrior brings a glass of driano to the champaign room. Both bands make up a crew that has ebbed closer and closer to the edge of the dance music galaxy. Everyone is behind the controls to do the job they came to do but are they on a mission to mars or from it? Not studio 54, more like hangar 18.
